01 — Who we are
Built in the desert, for the future
Desert Storm is a student-led FIRST Robotics Competition team based in New River, Arizona, serving high school students from New River, Anthem, and surrounding communities. The team is a STEM education program funded and supported by New River Robotics, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to making hands-on STEM education accessible to local students.
FIRST Robotics Competition is a global high school robotics program that combines the excitement of sport with the challenges of science, engineering, and technology. Students collaborate to design, build, and program industrial-scale robots while developing valuable technical, leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Together, Desert Storm and New River Robotics are building more than robots. They are empowering the next generation of innovators, problem-solvers, and community leaders.
